HAMROBAZAR AUCTION RULES

Please read the following rules carefully before participating in an auction.

1. Eligibility

Bidders must be at least 18 years old and meet the eligibility requirements specified for the auction.
Registration, verification and payment of any required Bidder Deposit must be completed before bidding.
Additional eligibility or verification requirements may apply to specific auction items.

2. Bidder Deposit

A Bidder Deposit may be required to participate in an auction. The applicable amount and payment instructions will be displayed on the Auction Details page.
The deposit is not a bid and does not guarantee that you will win an item.
Deposits of non-winning bidders will be released or refunded in accordance with the applicable Auction Details and Terms & Conditions.
A winning bidder's deposit may be applied towards the purchase price, as applicable.
A deposit may be forfeited if a winning bidder defaults on payment or engages in prohibited activity, subject to the applicable Terms & Conditions and any required notice or cure period.

3. Placing Bids

The minimum bid must meet the applicable Reserve Price and bidding requirements displayed on the Auction Details page.
The maximum bid amount is NPR 5,00,000, subject to any additional limits stated for the relevant auction.
Bids are binding once accepted and recorded by the auction platform.
Bids cannot be withdrawn simply because you change your mind or no longer wish to purchase the item.
An attempted bid is not valid unless it is successfully recorded by the auction system. Please check that your bid has been recorded.

4. Winning an Auction

The highest displayed bid at the close of an auction is not automatically the final Winning Bid.
The auction outcome is subject to validation and issuance of a Winning Bid Confirmation.
A bid must meet the applicable Reserve Price for a sale to proceed, unless otherwise expressly stated in the Auction Details.
A provisional winning bidder must complete any required verification and payment within the deadline communicated in the Auction Details or Winning Bid Confirmation.

5. Payment

Winning bidders must pay the full amount due within the specified payment deadline (30 minutes) and through an authorized payment method.
Applicable taxes, delivery charges and other fees will be disclosed in the Auction Details or before payment, as applicable.
Do not make payments to personal accounts or through payment methods that have not been authorized by Hamrobazar.
Failure to complete payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the purchase, deposit forfeiture where permitted, and the item being offered to another eligible bidder.

6. Item Information

Review the item's description, condition, photographs, authenticity information, inclusions, exclusions and any special conditions before placing a bid.
Claims such as signed, authenticated, match-used, match-worn or limited-edition must be supported by the information disclosed in the Auction Details.
The Seller of Record for each item will be identified in the Auction Details. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Hamrobazar operates the auction platform and is not the owner or seller of the item.

7. Delivery and Collection

Delivery or collection arrangements, applicable charges, timelines, and requirements will be specified on the Auction Details page or communicated through the authorized process.
Delivery is available across Nepal. Estimated delivery timelines are:
- Within Kathmandu Valley: 1–3 working days.
- Outside Kathmandu Valley: 2–5 working days.
Delivery will commence only after full payment has been received and confirmed. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the delivery location and logistical circumstances.
Winning bidders must provide accurate contact and delivery information and complete any required verification.
Requests to change a delivery address must be made before dispatch and are subject to approval. Address changes may not be possible after dispatch.
International delivery or collection arrangements, where applicable, will be governed by the specific conditions stated in the Auction Terms and Conditions.

8. Returns and Refunds

Auction purchases are generally final and cannot be cancelled or returned simply because the bidder changes their mind.
Remedies may be available under applicable law and published policies for issues such as counterfeit items, material misdescription, undisclosed material defects or non-delivery.
Any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with the Auction Terms & Conditions, the stated refund process and applicable law.
Where an item arrives damaged or materially different from its description, report the issue to Hamrobazar Support within 24 hours of delivery, with relevant photographs or supporting evidence. This reporting period does not remove any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

9. Fair Bidding and Prohibited Conduct

Shill bidding, collusion, bid manipulation, artificial price inflation, fraudulent payment activity and other attempts to manipulate an auction are prohibited.
Sellers, their representatives and connected persons must not bid on their own items to manipulate the auction outcome.
The use of unauthorized bots, scripts or other automated methods to gain an unfair bidding advantage is prohibited.
Hamrobazar may investigate suspected misconduct and may invalidate affected bids, suspend bidder participation or cancel affected transactions. Deposit forfeiture will be subject to the
